Looking up domain information...
WHOIS is a protocol used to query databases that store information about registered domain names. It reveals the registrar, registration dates, nameservers, and sometimes owner contact information (when not privacy-protected).
RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol) is the modern replacement for WHOIS. It provides structured JSON responses, better internationalization support, and standardized access to domain registration data.
Due to GDPR and other privacy regulations, most registrars now redact personal information in WHOIS records. Domain owners can also purchase privacy protection services to hide their contact details.
We display A (IPv4), AAAA (IPv6), MX (mail), NS (nameservers), TXT, CNAME, and SOA records. These reveal how the domain's traffic is routed and what services are configured.
SSL information is retrieved in real-time by connecting to the domain's server. It shows the current certificate issuer, validity period, and days until expiration.
