Frequently Asked Questions

Cropping itself doesn't reduce quality since we're just removing pixels. However, if you save as JPG, WebP, or AVIF, some compression is applied. Use the quality slider to control this. For lossless cropping, save as PNG.

Use 1:1 for Instagram posts and profile pictures. Use 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails and Twitter headers. Use 9:16 (Story preset) for Instagram/TikTok stories. Use 1.91:1 for Facebook link previews.
