Turn TIFF scans and photos into lossless PNG files that open in every browser and app, multi-page TIFF included - for smaller photos pick TIFF to JPG instead.
Want the PNG as a Windows or website icon next? Drop it into the PNG to ICO converter.
TIFF is the format of scanners, fax machines and print shops.
Browsers cannot show it, and most upload forms reject it.
PNG is lossless too, so every pixel stays the same - and it opens everywhere. Just want a quick look first? Use the TIFF Viewer.

One file downloads as a PNG, more than two come as a ZIP.
No. Your browser decodes the TIFF and writes the PNG on your device. Scanned documents and private photos never leave your computer.
No. PNG is lossless, so the pixels are saved exactly. Only the 8-bit palette type reduces colours, and the page warns you when it is on.
Add the file and every page shows up under the preview, all ticked. Untick the pages you do not need and press Convert - each page becomes its own PNG, and more than two come as one ZIP.
Yes. The print resolution of the TIFF (for example 300 DPI) is written into the PNG, so it prints at the same physical size. Turn it off under Print resolution if you do not need it.
It depends on how the TIFF was compressed. An uncompressed TIFF usually shrinks a lot, while a JPEG-compressed TIFF grows, because PNG stores every pixel without loss.
The size shown is measured from the real PNG before you download.
Uncompressed, LZW, Deflate (ZIP), PackBits, JPEG and CCITT fax TIFF, in 1, 8 and 16-bit greyscale, palette, RGB, RGBA and CMYK. 16-bit images are saved with 8 bits per channel and CMYK is converted to RGB.
Up to 50 TIFF files per batch, up to 300 MB each. Recent conversions stay in this browser, so you can download them again later.
