QR Code Tools

Everything for QR codes in one place - make them, read them and test them.

Design a code with your logo and colours in the QR Code Generator, read any code from your camera or a screenshot with the QR Code Scanner, and grade it before printing with the QR Code Checker.

All three run on our own QR engine, right in your browser - nothing is uploaded.

About our QR code tools

Most QR sites wrap the same open-source library in a form. We wrote our own QR engine from the standard up: the encoder packs your content into the smallest possible code, and the decoder reads codes from real photos - tilted, blurry, inverted or mirrored.

Because one engine does both jobs, the tools work together. The generator scan-tests every design live, the scanner shows how healthy a code is, and the checker draws a damage map of every module. Codes are static, so they never expire and there are no scan limits.

Design

Logo, shapes, frames, PDF with crop marks, bulk from CSV

Scan

QR, Micro QR and barcodes, short-link reveal

Test

Grade A-F, damage map, live camera test

Private

Runs in your browser, nothing uploaded

Handy QR code workflows

Guest WiFi

Make a WiFi code in the QR Code Generator, add a "Scan me" frame and print it for your cafe, office or Airbnb.

Before a print run

Drop the print file into the QR Code Checker. Aim for an A, then scan one printed proof with two phones.

Suspicious codes

Scan a code on a parking meter or flyer with the QR Code Scanner - it shows the real site and warns about short links and look-alike addresses before you open anything.

Business cards

Put your contact details in a vCard code, then match its colours to your brand with the Color Contrast Checker.

Upload the print file to the QR Code Checker. It grades the code from A to F and explains every problem - contrast, white border, size, density and damage.

Yes. The QR Code Scanner reads EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E and Code 128 barcodes, plus Micro QR codes - and every code in a picture at once. Books show their ISBN, products get a one-click lookup.
