Delete PDF Pages

Remove the pages you do not need from a PDF - click thumbnails, type ranges like 2, 5-8, last, or let the tool spot blank pages for you. The pages you keep stay untouched, with their text, links and bookmarks, and nothing is uploaded. Want to keep only a few pages instead? Use Extract PDF Pages, or cut the file into parts with Split PDF.

How to Delete Pages from a PDF

  1. Add your PDF. Drop the PDF into the box or browse for it. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
  2. Mark the pages to delete. Click pages, Shift-click a run, type ranges like 2, 5-8, last, or mark odd, even or blank pages from the toolbar.
  3. Check the summary. Marked pages turn red and the summary shows how many pages you keep. Undo any slip.
  4. Save. Press Delete pages and save. The new PDF downloads with the remaining pages untouched.

No PDF handy? Press Try a sample - two blank pages are hiding in it. See if the finder catches them.

Lossless and Private

Most online tools rebuild every page when they remove a few. This one just takes the unwanted pages out of the file.

The pages you keep are not redrawn, so text stays searchable, images keep their quality, and links and bookmarks to those pages keep working. Fonts and images that only the deleted pages used are thrown out, so the file shrinks as well.

Everything happens in this browser tab - the PDF never leaves your device. Still too big to email? Compress PDF squeezes it further.

Tips

  • Scanned a stack double-sided? Press Blank to catch the empty backs in one go.
  • Pages also in the wrong order? Fix that next with PDF Page Reorder.
  • Some pages sideways? Rotate PDF turns just those pages.
  • Need to combine the result with another file? Merge PDF does it in the browser too.

Yes. Shift-click marks a whole run of pages, the toolbar marks odd, even, first or last pages, and you can type ranges like 2, 5-8, last. Invert flips the marks, which is handy when you only want to keep a few pages.

Each page is drawn small in your browser and the tool measures how much of it is ink. Pages under the threshold (0.5% by default) get a Looks blank tag, and Blank marks them all.

Scans with specks or a faint shadow? Raise the threshold a little, or keep Ignore page edges on.

No. The pages you keep are not redrawn or recompressed - they stay exactly as they were, with selectable text, sharp images, links and form fields. Fonts and images only the deleted pages used are dropped, so the file usually gets smaller too.

Bookmarks and links that point to pages you keep still work. Bookmarks that pointed only at deleted pages are removed, so nothing in the file leads nowhere.

No. The PDF is opened, edited and saved inside your browser tab, so it never leaves your device. That also makes it fast, even for long files.

Yes. Undo and Redo (or Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y) step through every change before you save. Your original file is never changed either - the tool always saves a new copy.

Not until the password is removed. If you know it, use Unlock PDF first, then delete pages from the unlocked copy.
