Extract PDF Pages

Pull the pages you need out of a PDF and save them as a new file - one PDF with all your picks, one PDF per page, or one per range. Pages are copied as they are, so nothing loses quality, and the PDF is never uploaded. Want to throw a few pages away instead? Use Delete PDF Pages, or cut the whole file into parts with Split PDF.

How to Extract Pages from a PDF

  1. Add your PDF. Drop the PDF into the box or browse for it. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
  2. Pick the pages. Click pages, Shift-click a run, use All, Odd or Even, or type ranges like 1-3, 7-9.
  3. Choose the output. One PDF with all picks, each page as its own PDF, or one PDF per range. Keep the original order or the order you picked.
  4. Save. Press Extract. One or two files download directly, three or more arrive in a ZIP.

Three Ways to Save Your Pages

OutputYou getGood for
One PDFA single file with every picked pageSending just the signed pages, a chapter or one invoice
Each pageOne PDF per page, zipped when 3 or moreSeparating scanned receipts or certificates

Need to cut the whole document into equal parts or by file size? Split PDF is built for that.

Lossless and Private

The pages are copied, not redrawn. Text stays searchable, images keep their quality, and links and bookmarks to the extracted pages keep working.

Fonts and images that only the other pages used are left behind, so the new file is as small as it can be. Everything happens in this browser tab - the PDF never leaves your device.

Want the pages as pictures instead? PDF to JPG and PDF to PNG turn them into images.

Tips

  • Keeping almost everything? It is quicker to remove the few extras with Delete PDF Pages.
  • Building a new document from several PDFs? Extract the pages you need, then join them with Merge PDF.
  • Extracted pages sideways? Rotate PDF fixes them in a click.
  • Reverse order? Type 10-1 and pick As picked.
