Frequently Asked Questions

Enable the "Add watermark" toggle in the settings, type your text (e.g. CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT), then choose position, opacity, and color. The watermark is baked into the PDF during conversion using Ghostscript - it cannot be easily removed.

Switch to "Custom Range" and enter a From and To page number. For example, From 2 To 5 will output only pages 2 through 5. Leave "To" blank to convert from your start page to the end. This works per-file in batch mode.

Upload multiple Word files, drag them into the desired order, then enable "Merge into One PDF" in the output bar. All documents are converted and combined into a single PDF in the order shown. You can use our PDF Merger to combine existing PDFs instead.

It controls the output DPI (dots per inch) for image content in your PDF. 72 DPI gives the smallest file suitable for screen viewing. 150 DPI is balanced for standard printing. 300 DPI is high quality for professional or press printing. For even smaller files after conversion, try our PDF Compressor.

Grayscale PDFs are typically 30-70% smaller and save significant ink costs when printing. They also display better on e-ink readers. Enable "Grayscale" mode to convert color content to shades of gray in one step - no separate tool needed. You can also use our dedicated PDF to Grayscale converter for existing PDFs.

Try re-saving your document and uploading again. Password-protected files and some older DOC formats may not convert. If the problem persists, contact us and we will be happy to help!
